No more Linux on your ps3
So after reading this, I am a little ticked

but it leaves me wondering if it’s going to leave that linux partition I already have on there as wasted space.. should I backup reformat and restore just because they are gonna take away my linux (one of reasons I bought it I might add) totally sucks.. Thoughts anyone?

Where is official comment from Sony, and is there any place to petition this? All I can find directly from Sony is that the newer models loose the option for old game compatibility, and the other OS option.. nothing about removing it from systems that already have it. (not that I didnt just back up in case)
